Play the game, avoid shortcuts and ask many questions.
Most decent relationships in business are built on trust and respect.
It is better to know …
What we don’t do.
-
It is your business to make money. We do not promise crazy returns or magic tricks. You have been doing your thing long enough to know better. We don’t plan to beat the market or buy those hot IPO shares.
We will protect your interests though and help you shape the look of your assets under different scenarios. Clear enough so you can decide.
-
Taxes play a huge role in what we do. We almost always talk about taxes and consider them while discussing strategies. But filing taxes is a very personal thing. Options vary and we found out that people operate best when left alone to decide how much optimization they want to apply.
-
This is self-explanatory. We will always go the extra mile to help protect your assets, get you the best possible overview and sketch a strategy going forward. But we also want to protect your sleep (and ours) and this can only happen if we operate in a way that should not get you more worry than you already have.
-
If you truly are unwilling to talk in detail about your financial situation or concerns, we will quickly get frustrated with each other. If discretion is your concern, talk to us first and think if you can give it a try. However, if opening up about your financials is outside your comfort zone for now, take your time.
Keep in mind though that one day you might be forced to do it anyway and this usually happens under tremendous time pressure and in quite uncomfortable circumstances.

Talking about money requires trust. Especially in difficult times. Solutions need time and talk. We are convinced that sharing different opinions and even disagreeing in a constructive way often leads to better outcomes.
However, we accept that sometimes there is just no chemistry and we will not try to service you at all costs. We want to be fair and provide the best possible advice. But when great minds don’t think alike, little can be done to overcome this. And that is okey too.
